INTRODUCTION

NAPAAS is an acronym of National Personal Assets Acquisition Scheme

• NAPAAS is a Public Private Partnership initiative of economic empowerment for interested ex-
servicemen for self reliance, self sustenance and sustainability.
• The NAPAAS philosophy is in line with the federal government intervention palliative for poverty
alleviation, job creation, crime and insecurity reduction and eradication.

• Basic Needs : Interested beneficiaries can access basic essentials such as consumable,
household equipments, motorcycles, CUG Mobile lines/phone through a structured
flexible repayment plan
• Health Scheme : Setting up Contributory HMO scheme
• Housing Scheme: Accessing affordable housing scheme in collaboration with Federal
Mortgage Institutions and Real Estate Developers
• Agricultural scheme: Assisting beneficiaries and family members access to government agric schemes such as CBN Anchor Borrower programs and other out-growers program;
Support Small to medium scale farmers with finance, fertilizer, knowledge/information
etc
• Transportation Scheme: Joint Venture Partnership with Nigeria Legion to operate a Mass Transit Business venture
• Microfinance : Setting up Microfinance Bank
• Education Scheme: Providing educational items & Scholarship for Children of our fallen

• Skill Acquisition: Train and develop member of Military Widows Association of Nigeria

• Payment Security deposit/Insurance fee of N10,000 by beneficiaries
• Provision of Conditional BG & ISPO to Investor
• Withholding 2 Months Remittance to Investor as Cash Collateral
• Life Insurance of Beneficiaries & Comprehensive Insurance of Non
Consumable Items
• In-built Cost of items to include: Transportation, Handling Charges,
Warehousing, Bank Charges

Investor Obligations
• Purchase of Registration form (non refundable fee)
• Register on NAPAAS Portal
• Provision of necessary registration documents
• Acknowledgement of Award letter
• Letter of Acceptance of award
• Contract Agreement
• Pro forma Invoice and delivery note of supply
• Supply schedule

Requirement from Beneficiaries
• Interested Beneficiaries to inform State Chairman, obtain and complete application form
• Fill and Notarize ISPO in favor of supplier
• Sign Life Insurance documents
• Pay Contributory Security Deposit
/Insurance premium of N10,000
• Provide Verification Certificate & I.D Card

SOME ACCOMPLISHMENTS
• Banking Facility: Obtained N10Billion Credit-line for Investors/Suppliers on the scheme
• Insurance- In partnership with Standard Insurance to provide life coverage of up to N300,000
• Conducted the first phase of Skill acquisition programs for members of the Military Widows Association
• Engaged and trained some Legion Children as State Project Supervisors for the NAPAAS
scheme
• In collaboration with our partners, NAPAAS donated N10M worth of wheel chairs, motor
chairs, crouched and bags of rice at the just concluded Humanitarian Day Celebration in
Abuja
• Hosted a mini Road Show in Kaduna and a National flag off /Launch of the NAPAAS Scheme in Jos Plateau launched by His Excellency the Governor of
Plateau State, Rt. Hon. Simon Lalong
• Secure Public Private Partnership with Federal
Government for improving the welfare of ex-servicemen through Presidency and Ministry of
Defense
• Set up a Nigeria Legion/ NAPAAS implementation
